Centre Design was delighted to be awarded the contract at this prestigious Scottish shopping centre in 2002. The brief was to complement the clean lines of the centre's architecture with a contemporary scheme that would allow changes in theme in future years.
The solution that we came up with was a series of aerial platforms that allowed mini display areas to be placed in both the main atrium and the mall area.
These platforms provided both a technical and aesthetic challenge as they had to be as light as possible and to look stunning when displayed. The creative use of lightweight aluminium construction, plastics and retail style display techniques, make this one of our most eye-catching displays this year.
